Our island home.

MY counselling course has what I call the ‘Con-Tiki hysteria” Diagnosed by Doctor Tangerine as spending 18 months in a crystal, bowl humming room of bear hugging, tree hugging, dog hugging Love. The first week is a sort of ‘ incredible shrinking man’ moment as fog falls  over the students as we look for ways into and out of our neurosis, and theres nothing more interesting than ourselves so by the second week a sort of purging of our souls as we shake violently in our shaman’s hole, by the third week, our battle lines have been drawn as we split into warring parties discussing our tiny intensity called I; our island home. I’m in this for the long haul, a tortoise I maybe but slow and steady do I crawl heading always to my home the sea.
